How to Play Freedom Loop

A finance strategy game where players build passive income above expenses, leave the inner loop, and complete an outer-loop Goal Card.

Play Flow

1

Each player receives a Profile Card with active income, expenses, debt, cash, time, and energy.

2

Each player receives a personal Goal Card such as a dream business, family time, or a life project.

3

Everyone starts in the Inner Loop, representing routine work and daily obligations.

4

On each turn, players choose actions such as taking an opportunity, investing, learning a skill, cutting expenses, or building reserves.

5

Opportunity cards may create passive income, increase expenses, consume time, or add risk.

6

When passive income is greater than or equal to expenses, the player enters the Outer Loop.

7

In the Outer Loop, players use accumulated money, time, skills, or assets to complete their Goal Card.

8

The first player to complete their Goal Card wins.

What This Game Is

Freedom Loop is an original WhizzQuiz finance strategy game, not a property-buying or wealth-hoarding game.

The core is managing cashflow, time, energy, and risk to leave the routine work loop.

The final goal is a personal life objective, not simply having the most money.

Player Resources

Cash: money used for emergencies and opportunities.

Active Income: work income that costs time or energy.

Expenses: recurring costs that must be paid each month.

Passive Income: independent income from assets, systems, or rights.

Energy / Time: limited resources spent on work, skills, or opportunities.

Win Conditions

First, passive income must be greater than or equal to expenses.

After entering the outer loop, players must complete the condition on their Goal Card.

If cash runs out or debt gets too high, a player may need to stabilize before moving forward.

Example Cards

Opportunity Card: small online store, music royalty, online course, dividend fund, automated rental machine.

Expense Card: car repair, tuition, medical cost, rent increase, broken work equipment.

Skill Card: negotiation, personal bookkeeping, online marketing, risk analysis.

Goal Card: open a small cafe, work three days a week, fund a scholarship, travel around the world.

Host Tips

Explain that the game is not about getting rich quickly. It is about expenses, risk, and cashflow decisions.

Let players read their Goal Cards before the first turn so everyone understands their personal objective.

For new players, keep each turn simple: choose one action from opportunity, skill, expense reduction, or cash reserve.
